a few things to know about me:

A few things to know about me upfront:

What you care about, I care about.

I want to hear your vision, I want to hear what matters most to you in a photograph. Whatever those items are, will be at the front of our session. I am here to help!

I want your photographs to mean something.

I want to capture your blind faith, your true love, your immense joy, your fading summer, or your moment of clarity.

I am a disabled photographer.

Now you may think to yourself "why is this important?". It is important because I want to be open, and set clear expectations. So while I may not be able to hike to that remote location you saw on Pinterest, I will do my absolute best to create an experience that is safe, fun, enjoyable, and leaves you with photographs you will cherish for years to come. I will work with you to find suitable locations for your vision, and for me to capture it.

Testimonials

Adrienne & Jason

“We invited Vanessa to document our pregnancy with our second daughter. She did our annoucement photos, our maternity photos, and our new born in home session. We LOVE our photos. She was thoughtful and knowledgeable about suggesting locations for our pictures that captured the essence of what we were trying to portray. Her ease behind the camera and her patience with our toddler was huge! We loved the quality of our photos and the quick turn around. We adore Vanessa!”
